HAINES
Rob
started his computer career by attending Vol. State College. In 1986 Rob
purchased his first PC, an IBM clone with a 8088 processor. His first experience
with computer hardware was installing a hard drive and serial mouse. Soon Rob
was deeply involved with music software and was beta testing programs like
Personal Composer by Jim Miller, Master Tracks and Encore by
Passport Designs, Finale by Coda, and SmartScore by Musitek. In
1990 Rob was contracted to consult and test MicroSound digital audio
system by Micro Technology Unlimited. He was the first in Nashville to work with
digital audio using a computer. Rob Haines Studio has grow tremendously,
providing audio services to major music publishers and individual artists and
groups.
In
1998 Rob got a part-time job at another studio, editing TV shows for
Trinity Broadcast Network. Soon after that he built his first video workstation
and became a beta tester and consultant for Digital Processing Systems. DPS
later was bought by Leitch. Rob has built three generations of Leitch editing
systems starting with Perception RT, Velocity/Reality and VelocityHD/Altitude.
Rob has an extensive background and experience in building, repairing and
upgrading PCs.
Rob has 18 years experience as a video shooter, and this experience has evolved to project Producer and Director. Through the years he has developed a knack for all aspects of video production including creating 3D animations, custom video graphics, compositing and DVD authoring. Rob's music background has helped tremendously with all areas of media production. Top producers in the Christian Music and Music Instruction industry rely on Rob for all aspect of their audio and video production projects and products.
ERICA
CANTRELL
Erica Cantrell is a
graduate of Belmont University with a Bachelors of Music in Commercial Voice,
emphasizing Music Business. Erica has been recording, editing and directing /
producing with Rob Haines Studio for over ten years. Still she is very active,
performing in other shows, music videos, commercials, and other major theatre
productions, including Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Gaylord Opryland, Word
Entertainment, Brentwood Benson, Brad Paisley, MTV, and Warner Brothers Films.
She is also part of numerous recording sessions of children's albums for the
publishing industry of Nashville receiving several Dove Award Nominations. She
also choreographs dance for many high schools and performing troupes all over
the south, as well as various music videos and instruction resources.
